Emery Caleb Martin (Film/Video BFA 06), Kerstin Hovland (Film/Video MFA 12), and Meejin Hong (Film/Video MFA 12), aka Electronic Countermeasures, just completed designing and producing all video and real-time camera effects for the Foo Fighters’ Take Cover stadium tour that just kicked off in Europe and is heading to North America next. This tour was a complete ground-up redesign that meant producing animated, live action, virtual scenic, and real-time camera effects for the marathon three-hour-long sets. With a set list that changes from day to day, everything needed to be modular and built to be busked since the Foo Fighters do not use timecode, aka every show is different. This marks the fourth worldwide tour Electronic Countermeasures has produced for the Foo Fighters and the ninth year of collaboration together.
